The original colour that started this set's reorder streak, and the richest: a deep maroon — wine-red — cotton with the machine-rendered Lucknowi jaal across the yoke, gathers falling below, matched to a maroon dupatta with a scalloped edge. The shadow-work style reads formal enough for ceremonies and easy enough for long daytime events, and maroon gives it the most gravitas of the four colours we run. We label the work honestly: machine embroidery, priced like it, and wearing the part. If plum, green and teal are the daytime options, maroon is the evening one. Inside-out gentle wash; crisp after a low iron.
