The fourth base in our block-printed cotton family, and the busiest print of the set: a teal-blue kurta covered in an all-over white paisley-and-mango block print, with a red temple-motif panel and central mirror set at the yoke, and a matching teal dupatta in the same white block print. Where the black, navy and green colourways keep their bases plain under the red panel, this teal one wears its handwork all over — the most decorative of the four, and the easiest to style with silver and juttis. It absorbs hard rotation: teach in it, commute in it, host in it. Machine wash cold inside-out; the block colours mellow gracefully. Between sizes? The tailoring unit trues it quickly.
